A two dimensional affine projection algorithm has been realized by augmenting a one dimensional affine projection algorithm using a two dimensional state equation. Application of the algorithm was then applied to an interference cancellation configuration for image processing. Convergence behavior was briefly explored in simulation to show how numerical errors influence minimum mean squared error.
